Head of Financial Outsourcing Dept/Manager

An exciting opportunity has therefore arisen for a person with a solid background in accounting/financial outsourcing to work in a stimulating environment in a firm, which is providing outsourced solutions within the corporate private sector. We are experiencing an increasing demand for outsourcing legal, company secretarial, HR, financial and administrative support from our growing portfolio of over 300 clients originating from overseas, mainly from the Nordic region. To support and manage these projects, you should have a process driven approach and strong IT understanding.

As the head of financial outsourcing department you will work with a wide variety of inspiring activities and get broad responsibility. You will be in charge of the department by streamlining existing processes as well as expanding the service portfolio. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will provide financial outsourcing services to the firm’s clients with a wide variety of business sectors operating internationally. You will be responsible for managing your own account within the firm’s client base and supervising the department and provide necessary support externally to clients and internationally to fee earners. To help meet this demand and to work with changing conditions we are looking to appoint a fluent Swedish and English speaking person with a solid background in accounting/ finance.

Financial Controller & Assistant Financial Controller:

• Dealing with client requests and organise client support
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports, year-end reporting and accounts reconciliation
• Credit control on behalf of clients
• Responsibility for client invoicing
• Full sales and purchase ledger processing
  
• BACS/CHAPS payment control
• Expenses and credit card reconciliations

In addition the Financial Controller position also includes the following tasks:

• Overall responsibility of all accounting and book-keeping matters for clients of various size and nature including subsidiaries of publicly listed companies.
• Overall responsibility for management accounts and monthly reporting using either client customised reporting packages (for listed companies) or standard packages
• Year-end and annual account work, preparatory work for audit purpose
• Responsibility for all aspects of accounts processing to trial balance
and VAT-returns
